How to Know When You Should Move On

The End of the Road

When you’re driving somewhere, and the road you’re on is about to end, there are usually clear warning signs. Sometimes the signs are literal and say things like “Dead End” or “Bridge Is Out.” Other times, they’re more subtle; you start to notice that the road isn’t being maintained very well, there are fewer people on it, and it doesn’t seem to continue past that cliff up ahead. In either case, it’s generally considered a good idea to move onto another road before, not after, the one you’re on comes to an end.
