Introduction to the Fit Model Platform
Creating Linear Models
The Fit Model platform constructs linear models that can have complex effects. You can select from the following fitting personalities:
• Standard least squares fit one or more continuous responses (multiple regression)
• Stepwise regression selects important model effects
• Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) for multiple continuous responses
• Loglinear variance fits both means and variances
• Logistic regression for nominal or ordinal responses
• Proportional hazard and parametric survival fits for censored survival data
• Generalized linear models for various distributions and link functions
