Summary
In this chapter you learned about the Web container integration layer JBoss provides. The focus was on the AbstractWebContainer MBean service and how you would subclass it to integrate any Web container you choose. The JBoss/Tomcat-4.x bundle was also discussed. You were shown the configuration of the EmeddedCatalinaSX MBean in addition to how to use SSL and Apache with the the Tomcat-4.x Web container when it is embedded into the JBoss server.
The following chapter examines JBoss from the perspective of running enterprise applications and then goes through the steps required to deploy non-trivial applications.
