Summary

This chapter has introduced you to the Java Security framework and its JBossSX implementation. Security is a broad topic and it demands more than a single chapter for a detailed description. This chapter answered the most common questions related to the server configuration by explaining how to create login modules, self-signed and CA certificates as well as other core security topics.

In the next chapter, we will again look at security, but from the perspective of the developer; specifically, we will be learning how to secure the HTTP and EJB layer of our AppStore application and, as well, a Web Service application.
