Summary

We have completed our journey through JBoss Messaging. The new JMS provider is designed to provide a high performance, robust messaging core for the Enterprise.

We have learned how to configure the building blocks of JBoss Messaging system and we have used this environment to develop some components, such as message-driven beans and message-driven POJOs.

Moving on, we have discussed some advanced features, such as the bridge system, the persistence service, and the JMS user manager. You have just learned a good deal about JBoss Messaging, so pat yourself on the back!

Our next chapter will be devoted to the Hibernate framework, which is the default persistence engine of JBoss AS.
