Service

The service element ties all the previous elements together into a single offering. In general, the service element can be thought of as an entire Java class. The service element is the element that your customers see first when they obtain your WSDL document.

The service element is designed to bring all the related ports together into a one solid group. If the complete list is provided, a consumer can go through and determine all the port types a particular service supports. The service allows a client to determine whether a particular service supports all the operations that the client needs.
