Class Hierarchy

The group of classes that provides the user interface is usually referred to as the Liquid Crystal Display User Interface (LCDUI). Use of the LCDUI centers on the screen and how the user interacts with it. This approach to the UI simplifies program implementation but is still flexible in the face of a dizzying variety of devices. Table 9.1 summarizes the high-level classes in the LCDUI packages.
