27.5. Google Maps Map Viewer Component

We now complete the AddressBook application by adding functionality to the Look Up Button. When the user clicks this Button, the name in the AutoComplete Text Field is used to search the AddressBook database. We also add a Map Viewer Ajax-enabled JSF component to the page to display a map of the area for the address. A Map Viewer uses the Google Maps API web service to find and display maps. (The details of web services are covered in Chapter 28.)
