Chapter 13. Servlets and CFMX/J2EE Integration

This chapter introduces Java on the server. We have seen already in Chapter 10 how to integrate ColdFusion and Java with CFX custom tags, applets, and so forth. That chapter, however, had its distinct focus on ColdFusion elements. Moreover, much of the functionality covered in that chapter was possible already with ColdFusion 5.

This chapter puts the focus squarely on Java.
