5.16. What's Next?
We will continue to work with interfaces and inheritance throughout the book. We will further our understanding of these concepts as we start working closely with classes in Chapter 7 and see many examples of the design work covered in this chapter.
In the next chapter, we will investigate a few different integrated development environments for Java. There are a great number of such products, some free and some very expensive. They can undermine newcomers with their complexity and general fussiness—but they can reap wonderful benefits for the prepared developer.
