JSF 1.2 does not provide support for sending parameters to the managed bean in a GET request. Instead, request parameters are specified in the request URL using the ?paramname1=paramvalue1&paramname2=paramvalue2 format. Seam framework, a Java EE based framework, supports sending page parameters with a page action. For example, the following page action binding also includes some page parameters:
