Why You Need to Learn JavaScript

It is because JavaScript is used so much on the Web that you really need to know how to use it. Because so many Web sites add script to their pages (for a variety of reasons, as you will find out), sites that don't use script can look bland, or even boring, in comparison. So, even if your content is otherwise great, your visitors are less likely to return. Of course, every Web site needs good content, but spicing it up with some JavaScript can not only make it clearer, but can also add some useful functionality—making it more memorable.
