Summary

In this chapter, we learned about the core components of TypeScript and writing programs using TypeScript. We also learned the core fundamentals and concepts of the Angular 2 framework and developed a simple to-do application using ASP.NET Core, Angular 2, MVC 6 for Web API, and Entity Framework Core for data access providers. In the next chapter, we will learn about Windows JavaScript Library (WinJS), developed by Microsoft, and see how we can access Windows runtime features, change the appearance of HTML controls, and other options available in this library.
