Summary

You built full-blown useful JavaBeans components in this chapter. You created a Picture bean that loads and displays any image file, and then you modified the Picture bean to create a PictureButton bean. The PictureButton bean is a button that displays any image file on its face. You learned how to use events internally to set various bean properties, and you learned how to add facilities to create event objects in your bean. You will learn how to create container beans that can hold your control beans in Chapter 8, "Beans as Containers."
