What’s Next?
With JDOM added to our arsenal, and with our look at JAXP, we are ready to begin looking at specific applications of XML. Using SAX, DOM, and JDOM, we will discuss web publishing frameworks, business-to-business applications, XML-RPC, Rich Site Summary (RSS), XML configurations, and a variety of related topics in the latter half of the book. All topics focus on leveraging existing tools and adding code to enhance functionality rather than trying to recreate solutions that are already in place.
