Mark Beaty has been developing in Java since 1998 when he went to work for Sun Microsystems. During his years at Sun, Mark helped to develop and evolve Sun's web presence, in various roles ranging from architect to developer. As a web application developer, Mark has spent a lot of time developing large-scale, multitiered web applications on the server side, but he also enjoys developing rich client applications in the browser.
