C.3.1. Windows Platform
Download j2sdk-1_4_1_02-windows-i586.exe from the site http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html. Simply invoke the program, and it will set up the SDK. Remember to add JAVA_HOME in your environment variable to point to the J2SE installation location (for example, D:\J2SE).

Download j2sdk-1_4_1_02-solaris-sparc.sh from the site http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html. Simply execute the installation script.
