About Email

Email is the Internet standard for exchanging messages between users or applications. Email messages can contain plain text or more complicated data types such as multimedia files. Every email message includes information about the origination of the message, the address to which it is being sent, and other routing information in the email header. This header is a text representation of all the details of the sender and the receiver of the message, as well as all intermediate servers dealing with the message.
