We were able to take a look at XML namespaces and XML schemas, but at this time not all of the tools offer full support for these features. The movement to support these is well underway, so I don't expect these limitations to be an issue for much longer.

Of the JAX* APIs we used, only JAXP was a general release; everything else was an early-access version. JAXB will show the most radical change, and any future revisions to this book should be able to dive more deeply into the uses and features of JAXB. JAXM and JAX-RPC appear to be reasonably stable; by the release of these products, there may be additional capabilities introduced, but I don't believe any of our example code will cease to work.
