The LogonAction Class

The LogonAction class shown below is posted to by the logon form through the Struts controller. This action validates the user logon to determine whether or not the user has entered a valid login name and password. If the user has entered a valid login and password, then control is transferred through the Struts controller back to the main menu. At this point the main menu recognizes the login process has succeeded (because the user's session environment has changed) and displays the main menu based on the user's environment.
