Probably no other technology has generated so much interest in the past few years than Web Services. Web Services provide a convenient mechanism for businesses to exchange information. While this task, the simple exchange of information, may sound simple to those outside of the IT industry, anyone who has ever struggled with data formats and protocols to move data from application to application knows this is not a trivial task. Moving data from one application to another within the same enterprise has its own significant set of difficulties.
