Freaky Color
This is one of the rare times when I planned.
I was going to a roller derby for the first time. I was going to get pictures of the tough girls, their faces close up, and their gestures as they skated and fought.
It didn’t work out.
Nobody fought.
I couldn’t get up close enough to do close-ups, but somebody had painted a bright, luminous red line, which played against the blue floor, so I ended up with color, not gesture, as my interest.
Don’t let your planning put visual and emotional blinders on you. Stay open.
