It Takes a Great Client

In order to make a “good,” “meaningful,” or “great” photograph, you need to have a photographer with those ends in mind. In order to do the same in a commercial photograph, it is not only the photographer that’s important, you must have a “great” client with those same things in mind. Of course, that’s an extremely subjective explanation, but it is very clearly a matter of someone who hires you to do what you do well and then gets out of the way. The creativity for the client is in the choosing of the right person to do the job. This is their biggest obligation.
