SOME PEOPLE ARE SEDUCED BY THE PASTE-UP AESTHETIC AND TAKE PICTURES OF IT, TALK ABOUT IT, SAY ‘THIS IS WONDERFUL’. BUT MY FAVOURITE PART IS WHEN THE WHEAT PASTE GETS OLD AND ITS ASPECT CHANGES WITH TIME AND WITHIN THE PLACE.

French Monsieur Qui was actively involved in the graffiti and skateboarding scene, when – between 2004 and 2006 – he grew interested in paste-up art. ‘When a friend of mine showed me pictures of street art from New York, I was struck by a sudden love for wheat paste and the impact it could have.
