1:Create a short text file on your local computer, save it using proper line termination, and then upload it in text mode from your computer to the Itanium system. Use the cat or more command to look at it there. Download one of the short hidden text files in your directory on the Itanium system (such as .login) and see what it looks like using the text editor on your local system.
