10.8. Project approach
The project team now kicked into high gear, adopting the tried and tested approach used for the previous projects, i.e. a 2–3 day offsite JAD workshop for process and data modelling, which would be all the more challenging in that for the first time they would be defining new processes, and not just formalizing changes to existing processes – which explains why even HR was part of the project team. One week later, they had a 30-page requirements document which enabled them to evaluate technical solutions.
