About the Authors

Ray Tricker (MSc, lEng, FIIE (elec), FinstM, MIQA, MIRSE) as well as being the Principal Consultant and Managing Director of Herne European Consultancy Ltd – an organisation specialising in Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems – is also an established Butterworth-Heinemann author (see Reference section). He served with the Royal Corps of Signals (for a total of 37 years) during which time he held various managerial posts culminating in being appointed as the Chief Engineer of NATO ACE COMSEC.
