Chapter 1. iSeries Access for Web V5R2 and
WebSphere Host Publisher V4.0
This chapter introduces iSeries Access for Web V5R2 and IBM WebSphere Host Publisher
V4.0. You can use both products to Web-enable your legacy applications on iSeries servers.
However, they are not the only products that may be used to access the iSeries via a Web
browser. This chapter explores the range software products that can be used to access the
iSeries (including those that are not Web-enabled). Once you understand the scope of each
product, you can determine which product best suits your situation.
