About the Authors
Abe Martey, CCIE #2373, is a product manager at the Cisco Internet PoP Systems Business Unit (IPSBU), which is the home of the Cisco 12000 Internet Router Series. Abe focuses on high-speed IP routing systems and related technologies. Prior to this position, Abe held various support engineering positions, including time at the Cisco Technical Assistance Center on the IP Routing Protocols Team and later on the ISP Team (now Internet Engineering Services Team), where he developed special interest in the IS-IS routing protocol. Abe holds a masters degree in electrical engineering and has been with Cisco Systems for six years.
