About the Author
Dr. Vijay Garg is an adjunct professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he teaches courses in wireless communications and wireless networking. Dr. Garg is also a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at the Bell Labs of Lucent Technologies in Naperville, Illinois. Dr. Garg received his Ph.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, in 1973 and his MS from the University of California at Berkeley, California, in 1966.
