Chapter 6. Irreverent Still-Life Tools

Take any photograph without people in it and, in a sense, you have taken a still-life. I don’t know of any hard and steadfast rule that still-life images need to be taken of small things. But generally a still-life photograph is considered a photo of small objects on a table or background, often with dramatic lighting. (See Figure 6.1.)
