Chapter 3. Irreverent Travel Tools

Unlike studio or location photography, travel photography usually means carrying less and enjoying more. Just the word travel evokes a sense of newness and adventure that is unlike most photography projects. You may be traveling to take pictures, traveling for work, or traveling “just to see.” In all instances, fascinating and often beautiful images will present themselves to your camera, waiting to be captured. You only need the eye, the right equipment, and the willingness to press the shutter button. (See Figure 3.1.)
