An Overview of the Store's Layout
The iTunes Store is jam-packed with digital merchandise, all neatly filed under category links along the upper-left side of the main window. Click a link to go to that section of the store: Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, and so on.
Other links along the left side include Top TV Episodes, Top Movie Rentals, Top Movie Sales, Top Music Videos, Top Podcasts: all the most popular downloads in the Store at the moment. The right side of the screen displays lists of Top Songs, Top Albums, Top Ringtones, Top Audiobooks, and Top Podcasts. Tops for both paid and free Apps (programs for the Touch) are listed as well.
The center part of the window highlights the Store's latest specials and releases. Free song downloads and other offers appear here, too.
If you're looking for a specific item, the Search box (upper-right corner) lets you home in on your quest by entering titles, artist names, or other searchable info.
The right side of the window has a helpful box of Quick Links to your Account settings, buying and redeeming iTunes Gift Certificates, technical support, and more.
