Tips for the Photo Pane

The photo pane is your book’s photo inventory, the place where the iPhoto displays those photos that you selected before you started the book project. As I’ve described, when you want to add a photo to a page, display the Photos pane and the destination page, then drag the photo to its frame.

Here are some tips for working with the Photo pane.

Changing thumbnail size. To display larger thumbnails in the Photos pane, Control-click (or right-click) in the border between thumbnails, then choose Large Photos from the shortcut menu. I do this when I’m trying to tell the difference between very similar photos.
