Already connected? The instructions at left assume that you haven’t yet begun a video chat with someone. If you’re already in a video chat, skip Step 3.
Sound options. Your chat buddy will hear whatever music you’ve assigned to the instant slide show. If your Mac has a microphone, your chat buddy will also hear you talk. If you’d rather not broadcast a music soundtrack—maybe you’d prefer to narrate—click the speaker button in the floating iPhoto control window. (You’ll need to do this before starting the slide show broadcast.)
Conversely, if you don’t want your buddy to hear you type or talk during a slide show, click the Mute button () in the Video Chat window.
