Chapter 8. Using Your iPhone to Take and Share Photos

If you store digital photographs on your computer, you can copy them to your iPhone. In addition, you can use the 2-megapixel camera that is built into your iPhone to take pictures while on the go. You can also export images captured with the iPhone camera feature back to your computer.

The iPhone sorts your photos into albums — both those taken with the iPhone camera feature and those synced from your computer. When you open an iPhone album, photos in that album display in contact-sheet format — that is, they appear in a small thumbnail format.
