Chapter 2. Personalizing Your iPhone
You can personalize your iPhone in many ways. For example, you can apply a wallpaper to your iPhone, which is a background picture that displays when your iPhone is in sleep mode. You can choose from among several photos supplied by Apple or use one of your own.
You can also select a default ringtone. Apple provides several to choose from, ranging from a strumming guitar to a beeping robot.
To prevent others from using your iPhone without your permission, you can set a passcode lock. Similar to a PIN, you must enter the passcode to unlock the iPhone.
