Rich Koster(technical reviewer). The iPhone was Rich's first cellphone as well as his first iPod, but it soon became his faithful electronic companion. Acknowledgments

The Missing Manual series is a joint venture between the dream team introduced on these pages and O'Reilly Media. I'm grateful to all of them, especially to designer Phil Simpson and prose queen Julie Van Keuren, who have become my Missing Manual core team.

A few other friends did massive favors for this edition of this book. They include my tireless intern David Pierce, technical guru Brian Jepson, and Twitter buddy Don Agro. Apple's Greg Joswiak, Natalie Kerris, Natalie Harrison, and Steve Sinclair donated valuable time and technical answers to my cause.

Thanks to David Rogelberg for believing in the idea, and above all, to Jennifer, Kelly, Tia, and Jeffrey, who make these books—and everything else—possible.

— David Pogue
