In this chapter, we'll examine the camera and photo library capabilities of the iPhone (and in the case of the iPhone 3GS, its video capabilities). Although a camera may not seem like a useful tool in many professions, the ability to quickly capture visual information (or even evidence in some situations) can often be easier than transcribing written content (such as from a dry-erase board) or writing a description of a person or place.
