The average price of an iPhone/iPad app at the time of this writing is $2.26, a drop from $3.13 a year ago. The average price of a game app is $1.04, a drop from $1.30 a year ago. The question that many developers often have after they’ve posted their apps to the App Store is when should they adjust their pricing? What if the pricing adjustment has no impact on sales? Then what?
