About the Author

Sam Gliksman has been a leading voice in the education community, specializing in technology applications for more than two decades. He has been involved with educational and commercial enterprises, having founded and managed a leading software company for many years. He currently works as an educational technology consultant, speaker, and author. As a consultant, he works with schools, school districts and even foreign governments, most recently having been invited to meet and personally consult with the prime minister of Greece.

Sam is recognized as a prominent expert on technology and educational reform and has been very active in promoting the use of mobile technology in education. Sam founded and writes for the popular “iPads in Education” website (http://ipadeducators.ning.com) that has an active membership of many thousands of educators worldwide. A dynamic and inspirational speaker, he lectures at national and international conferences as well as giving insightful educational workshops about the use of technology and its potential for reforming education.
