About the Authors

Bob LeVitus, often referred to as “Dr. Mac,” has written or cowritten more than 80 popular computer books, including iPhone For Dummies, iPad For Dummies, and macOS High Sierra For Dummies, all for John Wiley & Sons, Inc. His books have sold millions of copies worldwide. In addition to books, Bob has penned the popular “Dr. Mac” column in the Houston Chronicle for more than 20 years and has written for pretty much every magazine that has ever used the word Mac in its title.

Edward C. Baig writes the Personal Technology column in USA TODAY and makes regular video appearances on the web and TV. Ed is also the author of Macs For Dummies and cowriter (with Bob LeVitus) of iPhone For Dummies. Before joining USA TODAY as a columnist and reporter in 1999, Ed was on the editorial staff at Business Week, U.S. News & World Report, and Fortune magazine.

Bryan Chaffin is the cofounder and editor-in-chief of The Mac Observer, as well as the cohost of The Apple Context Machine podcast and Pop.0 video podcast. In addition to writing for several print magazines, he has contributed to or coauthored five Dummies titles, including Incredible iPad Apps for Dummies. Bryan is shopping his first novel, Accidental Intelligence.
