Organizing Your Photos
When you first start using the iPad, organization might not seem like a big deal. Everything is fresh and new and clean. It’s like when you first open the door to a luxury hotel room.
Then you settle in. Activity leads to clutter. And suddenly things don’t feel quite so orderly. Unlike that once-pristine hotel room, there’s no housekeeping to come in and clean up the mess.
Fortunately, the iPad supports excellent photo-organization tools. Maybe they’re not as convenient as a housekeeping service, but they certainly will help you keep things tidy. I’m going to start with the built-in Photos app, then switch to iPhoto for iOS. I also show you an excellent third-party application, Photo Shack HD.
Using these applications, you can build a workflow designed for the way that you want to integrate the iPad into your approach for picture organization. And as your needs change, these applications should be able to adapt to them.
Organizing Photos in the Photos App
The Photos app that comes loaded on the iPad is designed to house and share all the pictures on your device. Because image libraries can get quite large, there are helpers in the application to assist your organizational efforts.
