One of the apps Apple offers as part of iOS 7 is called Passbook. It’s an iPhone-only app that’s designed to manage electronic airline boarding passes; movie, show, and sporting event tickets; store rewards cards and digital retail coupons—all from a single app.
For the Passbook app to function, it must be used with one or more third-party apps. Plus, it’s necessary to have your iPhone’s Location Service functionality turned on for use with this app.
