In addition to the BGP RFC 1654, these RFCs also have information on BGP and associated operations. RFC 1655 provided information on the use of BGP in the Internet, and we have covered many of the points made in this RFC. RFC 1656 is a short document about conclusions on running BGP in the Internet. RFC 1657 provides information on managed objects for BGP, when running SNMP as the network management protocol.
