The tactics you employ for managing an address space are absolutely critical in the successful long-term management of an address space. As I constantly remind my graduate students, there are precious few absolutes in internetworking. Picking the “right” approach requires that you have a solid command not only of the technology but also the context in which you are applying and managing it.
