Dad, I know you won't read much of this book, at least not to learn programming, but you believed in it. Even daring to ask, “So now when do you think it will be finished?”, which I know means you were excited to see it done. You reminded me many times that a book was worth investing the time in to do right, so thanks for not rubbing it in (too much) that I seriously underestimated how long this would take to finish.
Mom, you love telling stories about your three-year-old son that could sit quietly and draw for hours without interruption. Now that I'm a parent, I realize how odd and wonderful that must have been. Thanks for giving me the crayons, paper, and time to be myself. I still have trouble not drawing something ...
