Icons and Launch Images

All this time, we have been focused on our app’s code and worried about its appearance only to the degree that it mattered within our views. Although Pragmatic Tweets is only a sample app, we do want to take the time to consider what it will look like alongside other system apps.

App Icons

By default, our app has no icon, and it has the name we gave it when we created the project. It looks like the figure…and it’s not pretty.

Let’s get to work on that. We’ll start with the name being cut off. Click on the project icon at the top of the File Navigator, select the Pragmatic Tweets target, and click the Info tab. We can set ...
