3.3.3 Adding the UI Components

In this section, you’ll add and arrange the UI components to create the basic design. In Section 3.3.4, you’ll add auto layout constraints to complete the design.

Step 1: Adding the “Bill AmountLabel

First, you’ll add the “Bill AmountLabel to the UI:

1. Drag a Label from the Object library to the scene’s upper-left corner, using the blue guide lines to position the Label at the recommended distance from the scene’s top and left (Fig. 3.9). The Image symbol indicates that you’re adding a new component to the UI.
