Concluding Thoughts

While the demand for ethanol will modestly grow, scale will become increasingly important. It is imperative that a market has the refining and pipeline infrastructure that can accommodate ethanol and an automotive industry which produces vehicles that can utilize this fuel. In addition, the corn industry must be able to produce ethanol in the massive volumes necessary to penetrate other global markets, which impact North American corn prices and supplies directed to food, feed, and other markets.
